Yachiyo Logistics Hub is a four-story, 40,832 square meter (439,511 SF), LEED Gold distribution facility that serves the 37 million population of greater Tokyo. EQT Exeter had identified nine contiguous land parcels in the high demand, high barrier to entry Yachiyo submarket. As such, EQT Exeter was the only owner able to fulfil the large, 40,000 square meter requirement of a distribution user, a long standing tenant relationship who, in this case, awarded us the build-to-suit.

As developer, EQT Exeter executed nine separate closings on the land, navigated the local and prefectural entitlement processes, managed design and development, and expects to complete construction in late 2023. The property’s strong ESG credentials include rooftop solar panels and LED sensor lighting. Amenities such as café and lounge area enhance the experience for workers.
